In this highly competitive business world, Hexagon R&D India is looking to hire a forward thinking, highly experienced testers with a breadth of manufacturing domain knowledge for the Senior Software Engineer position in the HMI division. Selected candidate is responsible for manual testing to support the teams in USA, UK and India and release testing of software applications. The Software Engineer must work with the development team and collaborate with business stakeholders to implement new features to the product. All activities must be performed with a strong product focus to match or exceed our customer expectations. He / She must have in depth knowledge to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test scenarios / workflows to perform the functional and release testing on the product. knowledge in test automation will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualifications:

• Graduate Degree in Computers / Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering from a reputed university.

Skills Required

• Must be hands-on experience in testing preferably in manufacturing domain.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Having knowledge on test automation with any scripting.
• Working knowledge on CAD/CAM software.
• Having knowledge on NC codes preferable.
• A strong and confident communicator with good written and oral communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively with SCRUM team and as well as internal stake holders.
• Contended to work in a highly collaborative environment with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, relationship management and team building skills.
• A quick learner, with strong analytical skills, who enjoys getting to the bottom of our software applications.
• Ability to understand, evaluate, formulate, and communicate complex design and manufacturing solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately report bugs and user stories from technical forums into the tracking system with a results-driven focus.
• Develop test plans and strategies
• Execute existing test cases and develop new ones to ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Work in collaboration with development teams for testing new functionalities.
• Partner with development teams to test new functionalities and integrations.
• Build effective relationships and foster collaboration with internal stakeholders and counterparts.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on SCRUM developments, previous experiences, and personal insights to enhance team learning.
• Introduce test automation for new technologies used in the application as per HMI division standards.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of manual testing.
