Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent.

Relevant Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Airside Operations
• Experience in aerodrome licensing & Airside procedures and Apron control.
• Experience in Runway inspection.
• KNowledge in DGCA CAR Section 4 Series B Part IV.
• Should be well versed in Radio Telephony.
• Knowledge in ICAO Annex 19 Safety Management System.
• Knowledge in Aerodrome Licensing

Responsibilities:

Inspections:

• Responsible for the runway, taxiway, and apron inspections as per the DGCA standards.
• Airside perimeter inspections
• Record keeping of all inspection details and bring up the shortcomings and non-compliances to the notice of the management.

Facilitations:

• Responsible to facilitate all maintenance activities at the airside including the runway, taxiway and apron in coordination with the Air Traffic Control.
• Facilitate all Airlines and Ground Handling Agencies based on real time scenarios to maintain safe, smooth and efficient conduct of aircraft operations at airside.
• Facilitate all stakeholders at airside for the safe and smooth conduct of various construction works at airside.

Enforcements:

• Enforce all relevant DGCA regulations at airside
• Enforce all Aerodrome Safety Regulations at Airside
• Keep a record of all violations and conduct periodic assessments and trend analysis of the enforcement activities.

Incident Management:

• Pro-actively respond to all incidents and accidents at airside based on real time scenarios.
• Assess the operational impact of the incidents and take vital decisions on ground.
• Responsible for source data collection and preliminary investigation of the incidents at Airside. 

Vehicle & Equipment Management:

• Responsible for issuing vehicle and driving permits at airside.
• Vehicle and equipment inspections
• Impart trainings for the applicants as per the standards set by the management.
