Experienced hybrid-cloud engineer with expertise in the strategy, design, development, and implementation of our global ops platform for large-scale products and projects in the cloud (AWS/Azure, GitHub/Jenkins, JFrog) and our on-prem data center.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology
• Azure Associate certification is preferred.
• 3+ years experience in building and maintaining a hybrid-cloud devops platform with CICD pipelines (GitHub actions/Jenkins), docker/kubernetes and JFrog Enterprise.

• To excel in this role, you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. You have a deep understanding of cloud-based technologies and DevOps principles.
• You are familiar with configuring and maintaining cloud tooling like GitHub, JFrog, JIRA, Mend, Okta, Vault. Confident using bash, python, linux, PostgreSQL, PostGres, Grafana, Vue, Typescript, Android, C++, Go, Linters.
• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for AWS/Azure solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures
• Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training when necessary
• Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, with an ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity
• Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

• System Testing: Knowledge of system and software testing; ability to design, plan and execute testing strategies and tactics to ensure the quality of our workflows, services and tooling
• Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues

Level Working Knowledge:

• Discovers, analyzes, and resolves devops infrastructure and tooling problems.
• Handles calls related to build and test problems, deployment issues and infra outages.
• Pro-actively solves potential issues and drive continuous improvements

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing hybrid cloud-based infrastructure, applications and webhooks using DevOps methodologies
• Developing and maintaining automation scripts and tools for deployment, configuration, and monitoring of cloud resources
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for streamlining our software development process
• Working closely with development teams to understand their requirements and provide guidance on best practices for automated building, shift-left testing and easy application deployments and releasing to our hybrid-cloud.
• Design, build, and deploy applications and web-services on our hybrid-cloud, integration with  new and existing cloud platforms, including large-scale data processing and advanced analytics
• Implementing and maintaining security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud resources and software products
• Collaborating with other disciplines and teams, such as network+system engineering, cyber security and documentation, to ensure seamless integration of cloud resources with existing infrastructure
• Staying up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing and DevOps methodologies
