As
a Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Analyst in Micron’s Identity and Access
Governance Team, you will support onboarding of various entitlements (software
features, physical access, etc) into our Identity and Access Governance (IAG)
platform and work with global security and business representatives to ensure
that access decisions align with our “zero trust” initiative and support
“need-to-know-only” access. You will collaborate with customers to resolve
access issues and ensure their access is provisioned accurately, enabling them
to perform their jobs. This is a dynamic role with large impact and an

Required
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent certifications/professional experience. Related disciplines considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in identity and access management, with a focus on RBAC.
- Solid understanding of RBAC, Identity and Access Governance (IAG) principles and platforms.
- Hands-on experience with IAG platforms (SailPoint preferred).
- Experience with entitlement management, role design, directory services, and onboarding processes.
- Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel bulk data manipulation.
- Superb attention to detail.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
- Cooperative and inclusive with a positive attitude, well-suited for working across geographical and organizational cultures.
- Good communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a global, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
- Preference given to qualified candidates who possess the following additional skills:
- Microsoft SQL Server – performing complex queries, extracting and manipulating data
- Development of Tableau reports and visualizations
- Python, Power Automate, or other automation or scripting tools
- Hands on experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow and SharePoint
- Machine Learning
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure secure and efficient access management.
- Investigate, resolve, and implement solutions to access-related issues.
- Evaluate user access requests and ensure user compliance with program setup as well as “least privilege” principles.
- Support joiner-mover-leaver (JML) activities and ensure Micron’s workforce has appropriate RBAC roles and access permissions.
- Perform new role creation and update existing roles with potentially complex changes in business needs through close collaboration with business representatives.
- Smoothly transition Micron applications, physical access control systems (PACS), and unstructured data from their previous access control methods to role-based access control.
- Partner with organizational and area representatives to ensure role design aligns with “least privilege” principles while balancing and minimizing potential business disruption.
- Drive activities before, during and after RBAC implementation by performing data analysis, showing incredible attention to detail, and coordinating SOEs (sequence of events) between the RBAC team, IAM platform owners, LDAP, AD, and entitlement policy authorities to ensure a smooth implementation with minimal impact to the business.
- Monitor for access disruptions during "hypercare" and ensure impacted users regain access by making identified role adjustments.
- Conduct role mining, role engineering, certification campaigns, and access auditing.
- Analyze access data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential security risks.
- Collaborate with IAM platform development teams and security leadership to improve operations and implement industry best practices.
