Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyzing Application Source code for potential vulnerabilities and governing the same as part of regulatory responses
• Educating development teams on secure coding practices, and integrating SAST seamlessly into the software development lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD Pipeline to proactively identify and mitigate security risks
• Analyzes possible remediation techniques using technical experience, judgment and precedents and suggest the best to developers
• Works within defined guidelines and policies

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Requires knowledge of various programming languages (ex, Java, .Net), SAST tools like Checkmarx or Veracode, and a strong understanding of security principles and vulnerabilities.
• Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work
• Able to explain complex information to developers in straightforward situations
• Cyber security and project management
