Roles and Responsibilities

• Work with clients and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and proactive risk prevention.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering teams to enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of key systems.
• Support automation initiatives and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to minimize manual processes and increase operational efficiency.
• Contribute to architectural design discussions with senior engineers to ensure resilience and performance optimization.
• Participate in chaos engineering experiments and resiliency testing to identify and resolve potential failure points.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies to ensure system uptime.
• Help implement service-level objectives (SLOs) and service-level indicators (SLIs) to measure and improve service quality.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and business teams to align technology efforts with business goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• Knowledge of modern observability stacks such as Splunk, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Understanding of containerization tools like Kubernetes and Docker, and microservices architecture.
• Experience or familiarity with logging, monitoring, and performance analysis platforms.
• Understanding of cloud-based SRE practices with exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in software development or IT operations, particularly with Site Reliability Engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems, Java or Python programming, and scripting languages like Bash.
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Interest in DevOps automation, cloud infrastructure monitoring, and continuous integration pipelines.
