 ‘In-Person Investigation (IPI)’ is a process that provides partner teams the flexibility to verify customer information for multiple use cases and action types, while vending ground truth data to train risk models that detect identity and payment instrument abuse. It delivers legally defensible evidence to deny disbursement to bad actors, supports arbitration, identifies misuse of dormancy, and enables SPS teams during escalations and deep dives, aligning closely with risk specialist jobs in Bangalore. This team operates within the SPIV organization, which believes in solving problems, embracing challenges, and identifying camouflaged bad actors with a strong sense of ownership and pride, supporting fraud investigation analyst roles.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Performs investigations through calling (video verification) and the appeals process using high judgment to identify bad actors in the Fulfillment Centre, relevant to risk investigation specialist positions.
• Mitigates risk by continuously providing ideas for process improvement, enforcement reviews, risk mining, and queue optimization.
• Creates and updates learning modules and supports the program in driving improvements to ensure an optimal customer experience.
• Communicates with business leaders using predefined guidelines supported by data and resolves issues with limited guidance.
• Works in sync with Program Managers, Risk Managers, and Business Analysts to create mechanisms and strategies to achieve program goals.
• Adheres to established productivity and quality targets.
• Manages escalations on routine and predefined tasks with minimal supervision.
• Learns new tools, SOPs, and processes with minimal supervision.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 12 months tenure as an L4 IC in the Risk Investigations team.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
• Fluency in English and Hindi (reading, listening, speaking, and writing) with the ability to compose grammatically correct, concise, and accurate written responses.
• Leverages team knowledge across multiple specialty areas to help resolve recurring seller issues.
• Demonstrates the ability to self-manage priority tasks and objectives.
• Ability to think beyond the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and recommend appropriate outcomes, aligned with loss prevention analyst openings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience conducting In-person Verification/RA/AP/PQ investigations is an advantage.
• Experience working in relevant industries such as seller experience, investigations, and risk management.
• Proficiency in Hindi, Arabic, or Turkish is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications, especially MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
