Qualifications:

Job Description:

The Information Specialist , will perform knowledge and content management operations to support Cargill’s Information Center. You will consolidate, describe, organize, and store information resources or documents in databases and websites. You will manage user access, apply the governance, and perform yearly audit on the collections content and other aspects of the collection management. 

Also, you will monitor the usage of resources and produce regular reports for leaders. Finally, you will help maintain existing web pages, ensure pages are updated, and create pages as needed. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for routine content management, support, administration, and utilization of all supported tools, systems, databases, and websites that allow for the distribution of business or scientific information to our internal partners for self-service delivery models
  • Consolidate, describe, organize, tag and store information resources or documents in databases for self-service or websites, and retrieve confidential documents as needed
  • Monitor, catalog, and disseminate newsletter and other communications
  • Enable RSS feed and APIs from our databases
  • Support eLearning pathways creation and review of existing pathways
  • Annually produce usage reports to support the budget and allocation process
  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff
  • Other duties as assigned
