Educational Qualifications: Graduate

• 1-4 years of experience working on Data Science projects
• Experience doing statistical modeling of big data sets
• Expert in Python, R language with deep knowledge of ML packages
• Expert in fetching data from SQL
• Knowledge of AWS would be beneficial
• Demonstrate Structural and Analytical thinking
• Ability to structure and execute data science project end to end
• Experience with common data science toolkits, such as Python, NumPy, Pandas etc
• Automating analysis and authoring pipelines via SQL, NoSQL and python based ETL frameworks

Job Description:

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Data Science Consultant to join our team. In this role, he or she will be responsible for evangelizing and demonstrating the value and impact of analytics for informed business decision-making. An ideal candidate will primarily focus on developing and deploying Data / Statistical models while providing data-driven insights to our business stakeholders. His or her expertise in Data Science & Machine Learning will enable him or her to decode user behavior.

Requirements:

• Growth: Finding new ways to acquire users from inside and outside the Paytm ecosystem.
• Analyze behavior of the loyal users on the app on variables such as: transaction type, payment mode, balance checking frequency, demographic information, etc.
• Build statistical models to scan through Paytm's active users and identify users with similar traits to the loyal users
• Derive the number of users identified, segment them on the basis of what percent of their characteristics match with the loyal users.
• Be a brand ambassador for Paytm – Stay Hungry, Stay Humble, Stay Relevant!
