Zenwork is seeking a highly motivated and talented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their Tax1099 sales team. This position will report to the VP of Sales will be responsible for generating new leads and qualifying them to become potential customers for their sales team. You will work closely with our Account Executives to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads and help drive revenue growth for the company. Their preference is for this position to be in Dallas, TX or Fayetteville, AR, though they are willing to consider a remote arrangement for the right candidate. (Must be located in Central or Eastern Time Zone).

Educational Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years as an SDR with relevant enterprise SaaS experience and a track record of achieving/exceeding quota.
  • Success with market research and sales prospecting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with prospects and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and constantly improve.
  • Ability to adapt to new situations quickly.
  • Genuine and charismatic personality.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Salesforce 

Preferences:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Finance or related fields preferred.
  • Some knowledge of IRS 1099 Forms.
  • Some Salesforce and / or Salesloft experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to identify new prospects and generate leads using various tools and resources, including social media, online directories, and databases.
  • Engage with prospects through cold calls, emails, and other communication channels to assess their interest in our products and services.
  • Qualify leads by asking targeted questions to determine their needs, budget, timeline, and decision-making process.
  • Use a CRM system to track and manage leads and ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns and follow-up strategies.
  • Provide feedback and insights to the sales team on lead quality, campaign performance, and customer needs and preferences.
