Roles & Responsibilities:

As a Chip Design Verification Engineer at Edveon Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functional correctness and reliability of complex integrated circuits (ICs). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Testbench Development: Creating and maintaining comprehensive testbenches using SystemVerilog or UVM methodologies to simulate and verify the functionality of chip designs.
  • Verification Planning: Collaborating with design engineers to develop effective verification plans, identifying test scenarios, and defining coverage metrics.
  • Functional Verification: Executing simulations and analyzing results to identify and debug functional defects in the chip design.
  • Coverage Analysis: Measuring and improving verification coverage to ensure that all design features are thoroughly tested.
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues related to functional failures, timing violations, or other design anomalies.
  • Documentation: Preparing detailed verification reports and documentation to communicate test results and findings.
  • Staying Updated: Keeping abreast of the latest verification methodologies, tools, and industry trends to enhance your technical skills.
