Eaton India Innovation Center (EIIC) – Center for Digital Engineering (CDE) has a Engineer open position. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform simulations of electrical products breakers/switchgear/UPS from MBD (Multi Body Dynamics)/vibration technology. Individual will be required to partner with local and global teams, understand the design intent, develop and validate MBD models to substantiate the engineering designs. Individual should have sound knowledge of MBD & or Vibration modelling techniques in ADAMS/ANSYS Workbench and allied software.

Educational Qualifications:

• MS/ME/M.Tech in Mechanical/Automotive engineering
• 0-2 Years of relevant experience with multinational engineering organization.

Skills:

• Thorough understanding of dynamic techniques like MBD, Vibration analysis methods. Knowledge of Six Sigma (DfSS) is preferred.
• Candidate should have excellent English communication (oral and written) and presentation skills and should be a good team player.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with technology and product teams to define problem statements
• Understands project requirements and solves problems in discussion with local as well as global stakeholders.
• Understand existing simulation modeling methodologies & assist to mature further
• Deploys developed simulation methodologies to strengthen “Analysis First” strategy on electrical products"   
• Develops MBD/Vibration models to evaluate critical performance of electrical products.
• Analyze,Interpret, summarize and communicate simulation results to global audience and provide technical and/or design recommendations..  
• Delivers deep insights through simulations for robust product development to meet performance requirements/ CTQs for electrical products.
• Coordinates with stakeholders to understand analysis requirements, create analysis approach & solve simple/medium complex problems
• Understand & assist in maturing analysis capability of MBD/Vibration technology domain for electrical productline.
• Engage with product and test engineer to improve analysis models and validate analysis approach with test data.
• Demonstrates CI mindset & indentify opportunities to automate repetative tasks.
