Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Good analytical thinking / ability to take decisions.
- Strong domain knowledge of various products of financial markets and understands financial terms.
- Demonstrate professionalism, industry competence and clarity of communication when dealing with the Onshore teams.
- The candidate should be comfortable working in an unstructured & complex environment requiring out of box thinking, logical reasoning.
- Research and gather required information from various external and internal sources.
- Ability to learn and understand the EY’s Risk Management policies as well as familiarity with other Risk Management initiatives outside of area of expertise.
- Ability to keep confidential sensitive information.
- Interest in working with a culturally diverse team from around the globe to design, develop, and deploy programs and share knowledge.
- Team player and active listener with the ability to respond to and develop the ideas of others.
To qualify
for the role, you must have
- Be capable of working using own initiative, with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Have strong analytical and interpretation skills with excellent attention to detail
- University graduate / post-graduate with 0-1 year of relevant experience.
- Good academic background.
- Advanced MS office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ideally,
you’ll also have
- Ability to operate and flex in an ambiguous and changing environment to respond to emerging priorities
- Experience of working to deadlines and delivering high quality outputs
- Ability and willingness to periodically work flexibly e.g., participating in calls outside of standard office hours (early morning/late night) to support our global organization
Key Responsibilities:
- Your role will include interpreting GDS policies, performing compliance checks/audits and determining required actions and making recommendations based on the firm guidance.
- You would be required to develop subject matter expertise on Independence issues.
- Analysing individuals’ financial holdings and relationships to determine if they and EY are independent under the relevant rules.
- Completing Independence checks and general research in respect of potential new clients.
- Your other responsibilities include analysing issues and producing deliverables to document the diligence with which such tasks were performed, as the work papers are subject to review and scrutiny by outside regulators. Interactions are generally at the executive level with client team members and GDS personnel.
- Your client responsibilities include understanding client’s business & requirements, Service level agreement (SLA) of the process and quality parameters.
- You will be part of project team involved in regular client connects and driving exceptional client service.
- You are required to work as team player to foster teamwork and helps in delivering high quality outputs.
