Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate with 0 to 1.5 years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Mainframe systems, COBOL, JCL etc.
• Excellent problem analysis skills and ability to propose multiple solutions for a problem and choose the most apt solution.
• Must be able to understand high level design, translate it into code level technical design and build documentation for the developed code.
• Must have curiosity and creativity, to want to understand customer requirements and our processes and urge to come up with creative solutions.
• Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications that demonstrate professionalism.
• Solid understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies.
• Document process, designs, test results, and analysis.
• Lead root cause analysis and track defect resolution to completion.
• Review and provide feedback on development code, test designs and test cases.
• Highly driven, resourceful and results oriented.
• Good team player with willingness to listen and learn from colleagues to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ability to learn from mistakes and apply lessons to future challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business units and technical staff to understand business requirements for use in designing appropriate solutions
• Evaluate options and provide recommendation on scope and scale of effort required to implement final requirements
• Analyze, document and design solutions for system enhancements
• Implementing minor system enhancements and Testing
• Ensure on schedule delivery of a high quality product that meets business and technical requirements
• Participate in design and code review sessions as appropriate to ensure the quality of work delivered by teammates is in accordance with development standards.
• Work closely with project team members (other Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, Product Managers, etc.), and coordinate and interface with other groups (e.g. Network, QA, Operations, Engineering, etc.)
