Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review and analyse patient medical records for accurate code assignment.
• Ensure adherence to coding guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Learn to use medical coding software.
• Apply understanding of anatomy and physiology to interpret clinical documentation and identify applicable medical codes.
• Well-versed with ICD-10 guidelines and their implementation
• Proficient in reviewing medical records and determining the accuracy and completeness of the document.
• Stay updated on industry changes and attend relevant training sessions.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of all patient information.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have a bachelors degree or masters degree, from a medical science backdrop or anything relevant Life Science or Bioscience, Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing or Medicine Allied Health
• Year of Passing: 2020 to 2024
• Good knowledge in medical terminology basics
• Good knowledge in Anatomy physiology basics
• AAPC/AHIMA Certification is an added advantage.
• Risk Adjustment coding experience is an added advantage.
