Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Perform manual and automated testing of software applications.
• Identify, record, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in software testing.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, WebDriverIO).
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail).
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with databases.
• Understanding of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Relevant Certifications (optional but preferred):

• ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board)
• CSTE (Certified Software Tester)
• CSQA (Certified Software Quality Analyst)

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 0.6 to 1.5 years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 0.6 to 1.5 years of experience in automation & manual testing of software applications.
