Job Description – NOC Technician Recruitment 2025

The NOC Technicianwill be responsible for network monitoring, incident management, and system troubleshooting. The role involves working with multiple network monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds, StatusPage, Pingdom, and Alertfind.

The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the IT operations team and other support teams to resolve issues, optimize monitoring systems, and ensure smooth IT infrastructure operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review and manage device monitoring on a daily basis.
• Generate and analyze reports on the status of monitored systems.
• Provide quick responses to monitoring requests for devices/systems.
• Track, document, and resolve incidents/problems effectively.
• Configure and maintain network monitoring and escalation systems.
• Use ticketing tools to track activities and maintain logs.
• Coordinate with engineering/operations teams to validate alerts and minimize false positives.
• Troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and VoIP systems.
• Support patch management, release processes, and change requests.
• Handle Level 1 issues related to Informatica workflows and applications.
• Route tickets to L2 teams as required for resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate degree (Engineering/Postgraduate preferred).
• Flexible to work in non-standard business hours(Shift: 8am–5pm EST / 5:30pm–4:30am IST).
• Strong troubleshooting and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and structured problem-solving approach.
• Knowledge of standard networking protocols (TCP/IP, SSH, SFTP, HTTP).
• 6–12 months of experience with server/network monitoring tools(e.g., SolarWinds, Pingdom).
• Basic Data Center knowledge (Windows, Linux, Cisco, Avaya, MS-SQL, Aruba).
• Entry-level understanding of VoIP Technologiesand Virtualization.
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

• Shift Timings:8am–5pm EST (5:30pm–4:30am IST).
• Coverage:8–9 working hours within an 11-hour window to meet business requirements.
