About the Role – Security Analyst I

As a Security Analyst I at ConnectWise, you will monitor client data sources for cybersecurity threats, analyze alerts, and assist in safeguarding IT infrastructure. You’ll work with the Security Services team to identify vulnerabilities and help mitigate risks effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor cybersecurity systems for suspicious or malicious activity.
• Research, analyze, and document findings for threat investigations.
• Assist with alerts generated from IDS, SIEM tools, and endpoint detection systems.
• Support SIEM rule modification and configuration management.
• Work closely with SOC teams on escalations and incident response.
• Adhere to IT security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Prioritize customer satisfactionwhile handling alerts and escalations.
• Facilitate communication between security partners and teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of IT concepts, cybersecurity monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic technologies.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Educational & Experience Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience: 1+ years in IT / Information Security (Freshers with internships may apply).
• Preferred Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CySA+, Network+, Linux+ or equivalent.

Working Conditions

• Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days in office)– Mumbai & Pune.
• Shift: 24/7 Rotational shifts to support global security operations.
