Job Description – KYC Analyst at Interactive Brokers

The KYC Analyst will be responsible for supporting client onboarding and compliance operations in line with AML/KYC regulations. The role involves account verification, client documentation review, and assisting with audits while ensuring strict adherence to SEBI and PMLA guidelines.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Process retail and institutional client applications daily.
• Review client documentation for new account openings.
• Respond to client inquiries via calls and emails.
• Register clients and update details on NSE, NSDL, CKYC, and KRA portals.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Support compliance with AML, KYC, and SEBI regulations.
• Perform research using internal/external sources and analyze client documents.
• Review client screening alerts (e.g., World-Check).
• Cross-reference databases to complete regulatory checks before account opening.
• Collaborate with teams for account approvals and maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems.
• NSDL Certification Series 6 is mandatory.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in DP back-office operations.
• Strong communication (English) and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Detail-oriented, punctual, and self-motivated.
