Roles and
Responsibilities
- Alert Monitoring: Use tools like Splunk, Jira, Zabbix, Splunk Observability to monitor and manage system alerts.
- Complex Incident Resolution: Troubleshoot advanced issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure long-term fixes.
- Incident Management: Participate in critical IT war room sessions, coordinate with SREs and engineers for faster resolution.
- Networking: Diagnose and resolve advanced TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and IT infrastructure issues.
- Automation: Work with Python, Shell scripting, Ansible, Terraform for automating tasks.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed incident reports with executive-level communication.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with production monitoring tools (Splunk, Zabbix, Jira, Observability platforms).
- Knowledge of incident triaging, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and SLA compliance.
- Advanced expertise in network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with cloud-enabled services and infrastructure monitoring.
- Automation experience with Terraform, Ansible, or scripting (Python, Shell).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience: 1–3 years in NOC or IT Support roles preferred (Freshers with strong knowledge may apply).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
- Certifications (Preferred): ITIL, Splunk, or Networking certifications.
