Job Description: Associate at UnitedLex

As an Associate at UnitedLex Gurgaon, you will serve as a subject matter expert in Data Breach Analysis (DBA). Your role will include handling review and management for US, UK, and other international clients at the India Delivery Centers. This is a full-time, onsite job in Gurgaon, best suited for candidates with strong analytical, legal, and data review skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in Data Breach Analysis (DBA)for global clients.
• Identify and capture sensitive data in electronic documents, including:
• Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
• Personal Health Information (PHI)
• Payment Card Information (PCI)
• Ensure quality standards are consistently met.
• Work on client systems through secure remote access.
• Maintain complete confidentiality of client and organizational data.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills to build working relationships with teams and partners.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive, professional attitude and adaptability to process changes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (added advantage).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Prior exposure to data breach response or incident response jobsis a plus.
• Awareness of data privacy laws and breach notification compliancepreferred.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate or Postgraduate degree.
• Understanding of legal fundamentals, procedures, and documentation review.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Willingness to stretch or work weekends to meet client deadlines.

Working Conditions

• 9-hour shift between 8:30 am – 7:30 pm (flexible).
• Willingness to work extended hours if required.
• Full-time hire (duration based on project requirements).
• Business travel opportunities (short or long duration).
