Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability assessments using tools such as Rapid7 InsightVM, Qualys VMDR, Tenable Nessus, and Shodan.
• Conduct DAST, SAST, and manual penetration testing to identify security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Deploy and manage Attack Surface Management (ASM) platforms like CyCognito and Palo Alto Cortex Xpanse.
• Implement cloud security best practices aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Automate security workflows with AI-driven cybersecurity tools for efficiency and scalability.
• Stay current on emerging cyber threats, CVEs, and security trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent technical discipline.
• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in vulnerability management and security assessments.
• Technical Expertise:
• Tools: Rapid7 InsightVM, Qualys, Nessus, Shodan.
• ASM Platforms: CyCognito, Palo Alto Cortex Xpanse, Wiz.
• Scripting: Python, Regex, and automation scripting.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, web application vulnerabilities, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and container security (Docker, Kubernetes) preferred.
