Job Description

As an Associate Engineer (NetDevOps, NCT), you will be part of the Global Network Services (GNS) team, responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining Deutsche Bank’s core network infrastructure. Your role involves working with advanced networking technologies, automation frameworks, and cloud-based solutions to support the bank’s global operations.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Execute deployment of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems across multiple sites.
• Implement automated network solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize performance, reduce latency, and enhance network scalability.
• Document network deployment processes, configurations, and technical diagrams.
• Work with vendors and service providers to ensure network stability and service quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Up to 2 years of experience in a global network environment (preferably in financial institutions).
• Strong understanding of networking protocols like BGP, OSPF, MPLS, STP, and VXLAN.
• Familiarity with hardware from Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or Fortinet.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive, innovation-driven approach.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.

Good to Have (Preferred Skills)

• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and willingness to learn advanced automation concepts.
• Working knowledge of network automation tools and scripting languages like Python, YAML, or JSON.
• Experience with Git or version control systems.
• Certification such as Cisco CCNA or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work during evenings or weekends based on business needs.
