Roles and Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor cost accounting activities defined under the CAS process.
• Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and cost accounting metrics.
• Implement process improvement and cost optimization initiatives through Kaizens.
• Collaborate with the operations team to track and resolve metric deviations.
• Post month-end journal entries related to accruals and reclassifications in ERP systems.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with the latest processes.
• Provide support and serve as a backup for cost accountants when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written in English.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and cost control metrics.
• Educational qualification: B.Com / BBA (Finance) / M.Com / MBA (Finance).
• 0–2 years of experience in cost accounting, finance, or relevant field preferred.
• Willingness to learn and apply new financial concepts in daily operations.
