About the Role – Site Reliability Engineer II

Roles and Responsibilities

• Execute site reliability engineering activities to enhance service performance and reliability.
• Implement DevOps automation tools, frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines following best practices.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps, and containerization for consistent deployment solutions.
• Scale and optimize systems using automation to reduce mean time to detection (MTTD) and resolution (MTTR).
• Conduct risk management, system assessments, and proactive mitigation measures.
• Troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems across on-prem and AWS cloud environments.
• Deliver IaC solutions to improve availability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Use monitoring tools and data analytics to drive performance improvements.
• Share best practices and mentor teams in cloud reliability engineering.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and implementing long-term solutions.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Ansible, and Helm.
• Proficiency with logging tools such as ELK Stack, Splunk, and CloudWatch Logs.
• Knowledge of monitoring platforms like Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or AWS CloudWatch.
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Sound understanding of AWS cloud services and Docker / Kubernetes for container management.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, ServiceNow, and SharePoint for collaboration and change tracking.

Bonus Skills:

• Programming skills in Python or other modern languages.
