an AWS Service Desk Engineer, you will join a global 24x7x365 Cloud Operations
Team, providing high-quality AWS cloud infrastructure support and incident
resolution. You will ensure service availability and customer satisfaction
through proactive monitoring and timely troubleshooting. This role offers the
flexibility of a remote cloud support job in India, allowing professionals to
work from home while building expertise in AWS operations and support systems.

Roles and
Responsibilities
- Incident Management
- Manage and prioritize service desk tickets efficiently.
- Respond to alerts, incidents, and customer issues with accuracy and speed.
- Provide first-call resolution whenever possible and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Customer Success
- Deliver excellent customer support while meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain clear and empathetic communication with clients.
- Ensure all customer data and systems are handled securely and confidentially.
- Technical Operations
- Administer monitoring tools like New Relic, CrowdStrike, and BigPanda.
- Perform key operational tasks including access control, system restarts, and resource scaling.
- Provision new AWS cloud infrastructure and manage configuration changes.
- Maintain backups, patching schedules, and performance optimization.
- Continuous Improvement
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS cloud technologies and best practices.
- Create and update internal documentation, SOPs, and automation scripts.
- Participate in post-incident reviews to enhance team knowledge and service quality.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience managing AWS services such as EC2, RDS, VPC, and CloudWatch.
- Strong understanding of Linux and Windows administration.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.
- AWS Associate Certification (must obtain within 90 days of joining).
- Excellent verbal and written English skills.
