About the
Role
The
Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst will join Plume’s 24x7x365 Technical
Operations team, responsible for monitoring systems, applications, and network
performance. You will collaborate with engineers globally to identify, analyze,
and resolve technical issues while maintaining the company’s commitment to
delivering high-quality customer experiences. This remote role is ideal for
individuals with strong analytical skills, networking knowledge, and a drive to
grow within cloud operations and infrastructure support.
Roles and
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage Plume’s global platform to ensure compliance with SLAs and uptime goals.
- Triage and respond to technical incidents raised by customers or internal teams.
- Execute runbooks, MOPs, and playbooks to resolve infrastructure issues efficiently.
- Use monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Jira, and Slack for troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Document recurring issues, process improvements, and new solutions.
- Participate in shift rotations, including standard business hours and off-hour coverage.
- Contribute to enhancing NOC procedures and process documentation.
- Ensure detailed handoffs of active issues between global NOC teams.
- Continuously improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
Required
Skills and Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: Linux, Networking, Wi-Fi, or Cloud Platforms.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Grafana, and Kibana.
- Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to analyze diagnostics and articulate solutions clearly to non-technical users.
- Eagerness to learn continuously and stay updated on emerging network technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent professional experience.
