ECI has an exciting opportunity for a Security Ops Center Analyst responsible for analyzing and responding to network security events. In this role, you will be engaged in threat actor–based investigations, developing new detection methodologies, and offering first-level support to incident response and monitoring teams. You will also perform proactive monitoring and response against known or emerging threats. As ECI continues to strengthen its cybersecurity framework, the SOC team actively leverages modern practices like advanced threat detection automation tools and enterprise-grade security monitoring workflows to enhance response accuracy. This role also emphasizes continuous learning using cybersecurity incident analysis platforms to improve defensive capabilities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Proactively monitor and respond to known or emerging threats against the network.
• Perform threat actor–based investigations using SIEM, EDR, Email Gateway, while developing new detection methodologies and providing Level 1 support to incident response and monitoring functions.
• Conduct investigation and triage of events, escalating appropriately; recognize and differentiate false positives from true intrusion attempts.
• Document and present findings related to security incidents and investigations.
• Collaborate with team members to mitigate and counteract threats.
• Perform email analysis and categorize emails based on appropriate verdicts.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with Business Line representatives, technology specialists, customers, and vendors.
• Continuously improve information security knowledge relevant to the role, including identifying and preventing phishing attempts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–3 years of IT industry experience, preferably in a SOC environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics Engineering, MCA, or equivalent.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CEH, CHFI.
• Knowledge of SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewall, VPN, EDR, AV, and other security tools.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP network traffic and event log analysis.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Ability to remain vigilant while maintaining and enhancing the overall security of client service portfolios.
• Awareness of potential risks based on operating environments and client contexts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
