About the Team – GIC Supply Chain Analytics

The General Mills GIC Supply Chain team manages end-to-end operations, from planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, to analytics. The team leverages data-driven decision-making and advanced BI tools to optimize processes and improve operational efficiency. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you’ll work on data extraction, transformation, and visualization, helping to enhance supply chain insights and strategic execution.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Data Extraction, Transformation & Loading (ETL)

• Extract, transform, and load data from multiple platforms including GCP, SQL, AFO, and SAP ERP.
• Write efficient SQL and BigQuery queries for analysis and data manipulation.

2. Business Intelligence Development

• Build and maintain BI dashboards and automation tools using Tableau and GCP.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with data engineers and senior analysts to refine data models and enhance BI assets.

3. Delivery Execution & Collaboration

• Execute assigned tasks within timelines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Gain foundational knowledge of supply chain principles and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support analytical decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field (mandatory).
• Experience: 0–1.5 years of experience in data development, analysis, or business intelligence.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong command over ETL, SQL/BigQuery, and data visualization.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Advanced Excel, Tableau, and SQL Server.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 1+ year of professional experience in analytics or BI.
