Roles and Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOC team processes, policies, and timely reporting.
• Security Monitoring: Monitor security events continuously to detect and prevent breaches. This includes analyzing network traffic, logs, and alerts generated from SIEM and other cybersecurity tools. The role may involve using platforms aligned with real-time security analytics solutions.
• Network Monitoring: Monitor networks for issues such as performance degradation and outages by utilizing tools to assess network traffic, server performance, and system logs.
• Incident Response: Respond to security and network incidents in real time. Investigate root causes and take appropriate actions to contain incidents and prevent recurrence.
• Threat Intelligence: Stay updated with the latest cyber threats and trends by reviewing threat feeds, reports, and intelligence sources. This includes exposure to cyber threat intelligence platforms for better detection accuracy.
• Collaboration: Work closely with SOC, NOC, IT, and business teams to coordinate timely responses and ensure strong communication.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports for stakeholders and management, including metrics on security incidents, response timelines, and threat trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection systems.
• Understanding of global security frameworks like NIST and ISO.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence and attacker TTPs.
