Operational
Reference Data Services (ORDS) function consists of Client Data, Tax &
Regulatory teams (including Instrument Reference Data). The function is
responsible for delivering operational services to Global Markets and Corporate
Investment Banking (CIB) clients worldwide, supporting client business needs,
regulatory and tax compliance, mitigating client lifecycle risk, and improving
data quality across the organization. The ORDS function focuses on strengthening
compliance within operations, which significantly influences client onboarding
and KYC activities, ongoing maintenance of client accounts, and downstream
operational processes related to reference data analyst banking operations.
Operations
teams provide end-to-end support for all Deutsche Bank businesses, enabling
seamless transaction processing and effective client management. Team members
operate across major global financial hubs such as London, New York, Frankfurt,
and Singapore, along with specialized development and service centers located
in Bucharest, Moscow, Pune, Dublin, and Cary, supporting global banking
operations support functions.

Roles and
Responsibilities:
- Payments – As part of this team, you will be accountable for the accurate and timely execution of various payment types, including physical cash and valuables, along with managing cash-related investigations. Responsibilities include handling time-sensitive and complex transactions for internal and external clients, addressing cash investigation queries before and after execution, and supporting payments operations analyst role requirements.
- Reconciliation Production Operator: In this role, you will develop operating-level agreements aligned with overall business service level agreements. Key activities include executing and booking Prime Brokerage Equity clean cash payments for PB clients, managing stock inventory across markets, reconciling Nostro breaks across regions, and performing high-value risk reporting as part of reconciliation analyst responsibilities.
- Settlement: You will be expected to perform pre- and post-settlement activities under Derivative Settlements across asset classes. The analyst is responsible for ensuring all assigned tasks are completed accurately and that exception items are tracked through resolution. Along with daily BAU activities, the analyst will participate in projects, group initiatives, UAT testing, and training.
- Collateral Management Operator: You will be part of a team responsible for daily collateral reconciliation and dispute resolution. The role involves close collaboration with global Collateral Management teams, operations, risk management, and front office traders and sales teams to ensure client and counterparty exposures are accurately monitored on a daily basis.
- Treasury: Gain a clear understanding of the trade lifecycle and manage activities efficiently from trade capture through settlement for each transaction. The role requires completing daily tasks accurately and efficiently, as incorrect processing can expose the Bank to financial and regulatory risks. Responsibilities also include regulatory reporting whenever required.
- Trade Finance: Manage the processing of Collections and Letters of Credit as part of the trade operations team within the Trade Center, ensuring adherence to agreed customer service level agreements and reviewing pending transactions.
- Client Lifecycle – Handle onboarding and offboarding of clients, ensure Know Your Customer requirements are fulfilled, and conduct periodic client reviews based on defined risk and value parameters.
- Messaging & Embargo Filtering – Perform appropriate review, confirmation, and decision-making on stopped transaction messages to validate mismatches and authorize release from transaction filtering in compliance with applicable sanction regulations and the Bank’s internal policies and procedures.
Required
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2025 Graduates – B Com / BBA with a minimum of 7 CGPA in graduation (till date) with no active backlogs
- Ensure processes are executed in accordance with defined Key Operating Procedures
- Escalate any unusual activity (e.g., high-value payments or reconciliation breaks)
- Maintain awareness of process-related risks and escalate potential risks to supervisors
- Contribute to intra-day and end-of-day monitoring of process checkpoints to investigate and guide resolution of team issues
- Develop a strong understanding of system connectivity from both process and technical perspectives
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to share process updates or escalate concerns
- Identify and utilize Key Risk Indicators and coordinate timely management reporting
- Research, recommend, and implement process enhancements where applicable, including improvements driven by market practices, error resolution, or inefficient and volume-sensitive processes
