Roles and Responsibilities:

• Gathers and collates data from well defined sources to conduct basic analyses guided by workflow optimization analytics. Follows up with team members and project-related groups for additional data when instructed.
• Uses data and results of basic analyses to develop basic graphs and data tables for managers in support of small projects, processes, or services supported through data visualization insights.
• Completes assigned tasks related to small projects or ongoing operational work (e.g., space planning, headcount analysis, budget requests) of one or more focus areas, with support and guidance from managers. Escalates issues to project lead or manager.
• Follows established processes and methods (e.g., analysis and reporting tools, budget and financial tracking, scheduling, databases) and identifies some opportunities to increase efficiencies within own daily work informed by process efficiency metrics.
• Communicates with team members and other internal teams to gather information and provide status updates. Sends meeting minutes and action items. Follows up on action items to track task status.
• Collaborates with individuals inside own team to complete focus area project, process and service-related work. Networks with colleagues within own team to gain insight, ideas, and connections.

Level of Responsibility:

• Working under close supervision.
• Taking responsibility for own work and making decisions with limited impact; impact of decisions is readily apparent; errors made typically only impact timeline (i.e., require additional time to correct).
• Using verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information about day-to-day activities to others who are fully knowledgeable in the subject area.
• Completing some tasks with multiple steps which must be performed in a specific order; directions or manuals may accurately document the steps necessary to perform the task.
• Exercising some creativity to troubleshoot technical problems or deal with novel circumstances.
• Performing limited problem solving, generally in the nature of troubleshooting simple processes or technology.

The responsibilities of this role do not include:

• Providing supervision/guidance to others.
• Financial accountability (e.g., does not involve budgeting responsibility).
• Influence over key organizational decisions.
• Role in strategic planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 1+ year of experience supporting Engineering Operations, project or program management.
