Roles and
Responsibilities:
- Prepare federal, state income and franchise tax, amended returns and supporting work papers.
- Demonstrate an understanding of basic tax concepts and proactively increase tax knowledge through client assignments and current tax developments relevant to advanced tax analyst roles.
- Multi-task on various projects within the tax segment and be cross-trained.
- Propose improvement possibilities to raise the effectiveness and efficiency of work processes.
- Develop and deliver quality and timely services and work products efficiently.
- Comply with practice protocol and EY compliance procedures.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

To qualify
for the role, you must have
- Graduate/Postgraduates preferably in Commerce or Finance.
- 0 – 2 years of experience, preferably in an Accounting/Tax field.
- Analysis and logical thinking capability.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ideally,
you’ll also have
- Understanding of US tax compliance and associated processes.
- Good computer knowledge in MS Excel and a basic knowledge of other MS Office and web-based applications related to tax compliance analyst positions.
