They are seeking a Pune based Trade Support and Settlement Analyst to join their OTC Settlements Team within Derivative Operations a subdivision of Global Technology and Operations. The OTC Settlements team within Derivative Operations settles bilateral derivative cash payments and receipts associated with upfront and trade life cycle events for the derivative trades placed on behalf of their clients and funds. They affirm all cash settlements with the executing broker and then instruct cash movement in accordance with their policies. They also work with other groups upstream and downstream to correct any discrepancies on the trade and assist in the reconciliation of cash as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day operational needs for equity, fixed income and multi-asset derivative settlement support for our asset management business.
• Ensure all aspects of OTC Derivative trade settlement affirmation are carried out in a timely manner
• Access and communicate settlement instructions with counterparties using DTCC ALERT
• Perform reconciliation, fail management and break resolution related to OTC derivative cash settlements
• Participate in team projects to enhance workflow, document processes and support changes in industry regulations related to derivatives.
• Provide superior client service.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of a variety of financial products (equities, fixed income and derivatives)
• Ability to work in a high volume, time-sensitive, high risk and demanding environment
• Excellent analytical skills in assessing risk and issues and finding ways to improve current processes
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage partners and work well at all levels, including senior management
• Ability to work as part of a multi-location team – supporting each other to ensure all work is completed.
• The ability to use generative AI to fit solutions to ad-hoc problems that come up
• Be a self-starter that continues to learn and dig while researching in order to solve problems or identify where system enhancements are needed.
• Is self-aware and understands the areas where improvement can occur
• Is tolerant of others' learning methods and the way they work
• Seeks first to understand in situations where disagreements can occur and does not take offense

Qualifications, Experience, Education

• Educational degree, or at least two years of specialized training/ equivalent work experience
• Has a general understanding of stocks, bonds and options
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, One Note at minimum
• Be able to effectively communicate primarily through email and in-office message applications to share status of work, ask questions and work through issues.
• Has a sense of humor and can build working relationships with colleagues both domestically and overseas
• Works well on a team - finding ways to assist and educate colleagues to strengthen the overall group
• Is able to conduct presentations in team meetings or larger department meetings or is willing to put in the work to improve this skill
