The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team ensures the reliability, availability, scalability, and performance of a mission-critical payment orchestration platform. The platform operates in a high-volume, API-driven environment and supports integrations with multiple payment service providers. SREs collaborate closely with the engineering, product, security, and operations teams to maintain resilient systems, lead incident response, implement release management processes, and continuously improve platform stability through automation, observability, and infrastructure best practices. Junior SRE supports production monitoring, incident response, and operational tasks under guidance from senior team members. Learns cloud infrastructure, APIs, and reliability practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Monitor alerts, dashboards, and system health indicators
• Follow established runbooks and escalation procedures during incidents
• Assist in troubleshooting API failures, latency issues, and infrastructure alerts
• Support deployments, configuration updates, and routine maintenance activities
• Contribute to dashboards, documentation, and incident logs
• Participate in on-call rotations with senior oversight
• Assist with release validation and deployment under guidance
• Support implementation of security best practices and operational checks

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, infrastructure, or production support roles
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (preferably GCP)
• Familiarity with REST APIs and HTTP response codes
• Working knowledge of Linux systems
• Exposure to monitoring, logging, or dashboarding tools
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work in a 24×7 production support environment
