As a Content Specialist, you will ensure they deliver performance goals for sensitive and timely escalations of potentially questionable content. You will manage the response to these escalations globally and use a variety of tools, communications, and facilitation methods to ensure issues are triaged and the right stakeholders are involved in resolution. You will also help test new processes, systems, and infrastructure to manage escalations, contributing input into where they put their efforts next. In addition, you will work into the data around incidents and search for trends, impact, and possible improvements. In this role, you will review graphic, controversial, and sometimes offensive video content in line with YouTube’s Community Guidelines.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with data analysis and spreadsheet software.
  • Experience with reviewing or assessment of digital content.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with project and program management.
  • Experience conducting online qualitative and quantitative research, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of non-profit/charity sector and associated research tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible in the changing requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for scaling technology to non-profits and empower their mission success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on specific non-profit organizations and generate analysis of non-profit mission, messaging, and overall online and offline presence in accordance with YouTube Giving policies.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on data based on quantitative and qualitative factors to YouTube and Google for Non-profit stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve research processes, templates, and outcomes.
  • Conduct content review in line with YouTube's community guidelines, including exposure to graphic, controversial and sometimes offensive content.
