The BI Engineer will work closely with the Commercial Insights Lead to deliver innovative and transformative Data Engineering solutions. The BI Engineer will be consistently challenged leveraging both existing strengths and developing new skills. Solutions will include Data Analysis, Feature Engineering and building Dashboards in Tableau and Power BI. He will be responsible for understanding the business requirements and fulfill those business requirements in the most efficient way following industry best practices. To do this, he/she will work with fellow Commercial Insights Data Scientists, designers, IT professionals, software developers, and his/her own network. Due to the nature of the sales process, work takes place in a constantly evolving environment, so agility and flexibility will be critical.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands on with MS Azure Data Bricks and ADLS
• Hands on experience in creating backend APIs
• Data munging skills using SQL, Python and Pyspark
• Strong Data Analysis skills
• Experience with Big Data execution using Spark.
• Familiarity in building Tableau and Power BI Dashboards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with Prompt Engineering and Generative AI frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a deep understanding of the Consulting sales process.
• Interrogate the data stored in the MS Azure data lake and Blog storage.
• Collect and document business requirements.
• Develop Front End Dashboards in Power BI and Tableau
• Coordinate industrialization of the solution so that it can be used throughout Deloitte Consulting US
• Commit to continuous improvement and learning—both personally and in support of team members
