Required Qualifications:

• Graduate
• Skill Set: Security Frameworks, Application Security Tools, Web Security, API Security, Vulnerability Assessment.
• Programming & Scripting: Python, Java, C/C++, Go (Any programming basic understanding).
• Strong understanding of web application security vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
• Strong understanding of secure coding. practicesand security testing methodologies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Threat modeling and risk assessment:

• Identify and analyze potential security vulnerabilities within your assigned modules.
• Assess the risk associated with identified vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation efforts
• Collaborate with developers and engineers to implement effective mitigation strategies.

Secure coding practices:

• Champion the adoption of secure coding practices within your assigned modules.
• Conduct code reviews to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
• Educate and mentor developers on secure coding best practices.

Vulnerability Assessment and validation:

• Participate in the design and execution of security testing activities, such as penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and fuzzing.
• Analyze and interpret security test results and recommend remediation action.
• Validate the effectiveness of implemented security controls.

Security awareness and training:

• Develop and deliver security awareness training sessions for developers and engineers within your assigned modules.
• Foster a culture of security within your team by promoting awareness of best practices and potential threats.
• Stay informed about the latest security vulnerabilities and trends and share relevant knowledge with your team.

Incident response:

• Participate in incident response activities when security incidents occur.
• Analyze the incident, identify the root cause,and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure a swift and effective response to security incidents.

Documentation and reporting:

• Document security vulnerabilities, assessments,and remediation efforts.
• Prepare and present security reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of security activities and findings.
