They are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join their dynamic Managed Services team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting security technologies within an MSP or similar environment. You will play a key role in securing client infrastructures, optimizing SOC processes, and delivering security best practices while working with cutting-edge tools like NextGen Firewalls, Cloud SASE, and Identity/PAM solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and manage security solutions such as NextGen Firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet), Cloud SASE (Zscaler, Netskope), WAF (Cloudflare), and PAM (CyberArk).
• Troubleshoot network and security issues related to segmentation, URL filtering, packet inspection, certificates, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
• Contribute to improving SOC processes, documentation, and incident response procedures.
• Provide security recommendations to clients and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Collaborate with teams to automate tasks using PowerShell/Python/Bash and adopt IaC (Infrastructure as Code) practices.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with a focus on root cause analysis and innovative problem-solving

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of cybersecurity experience in an MSP or similar client-facing role.
• Hands-on expertise in:
• NextGen Firewalls, Cloud SASE, WAF, and Identity/PAM solutions.
• Networking fundamentals (OSI Model, TCP/IP, segmentation).
• Familiarity with CyberArk, Cloudflare, Zscaler, or similar tools (certifications a plus).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot under tight deadlines.
• Experience contributing to client reports, stakeholder briefings, and SOC improvements.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Vendor certifications (Palo Alto, Zscaler, CyberArk, Cloudflare, or Check Point).
• Knowledge of scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash) and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
• Understanding of IaC (Terraform, Ansible) for security device management.
• Active in cybersecurity forums, webinars, or professional networks (ISC2, ISACA).
• Home lab experience or personal projects demonstrating security curiosity.
