Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide solutions to technical and product queries raised by customers via tickets, emails, chats, or phone calls
  • Troubleshoot cloud applications and infrastructure issues effectively
  • Adapt quickly to DigitalOcean systems and evolving technologies
  • Collaborate with global teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Identify, document, and implement process & policy improvements
  • Manage incident escalations and ensure timely resolutions
  • Assist in fraud prevention and abuse management on the platform
  • Work with other departments to enhance customer experience
  • Contribute to designing high-availability cloud solutions for scaling businesses

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing and Linux systems
  • Passion for customer success and technical problem-solving
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Prior experience in Customer Support, Cloud Solutions, or Solutions Architecture roles preferred
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities

Technical Skills:

  • Applied knowledge in Linux distributions (Debian, Ubuntu, etc.) and Django
  • Networking, Storage, and Virtualization (KVM, Xen)
  • Database engines: MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB
  • Bonus: Certifications (RHCE, CKA, CKAD)
  • Bonus: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes troubleshooting – from pods and deployments to control plane issues
