Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy and validity of general ledger accounts, adhering to firmwide reconciliation and substantiation standards.
• Manage P\&L and Balance Sheet controls, while identifying process improvements.
• Conduct analysis to resolve material variances between the general ledger and upstream systems.
• Oversee month-end close processes, inter-entity control, governance, and reporting standards.
• Manage manual accounting entries, bookings, and infrastructure controls.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Commerce (Postgraduates preferred).
• Strong knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, and desktop tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of securities and derivatives products.
• Ability to liaise with risk managers, finance teams, and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex general ledger systems.
• Excellent communication (verbal & written) skills.
