Job Description – Technical Support Engineer L2 (Notebook/Laptop)

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will provide L2 hardware and IT supportfor Lenovo laptops, desktops, and accessories. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting, escalation management, and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for professionals pursuing IT hardware support jobs in Indiaand aiming to grow in the global technical support industry.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide real-time floor support for technical and process-related queries.
  • Clarify SOPs and guide on part compatibility and troubleshooting.
  • Support engineers with tool navigation and technical platforms.
  • Handle escalations both on-call and off-call to prevent customer dissatisfaction.
  • Collect defective units and provide field support for escalated/repeat cases.
  • Conduct RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for escalated issues and suggest preventive measures.
  • Ensure compliance with defined technical KPIs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Hardware, or a related discipline.
  • Strong technical knowledge in troubleshooting laptops, desktops, headphones, keyboards, and accessories.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer handling ability.
  • Ability to work 6 days a week (Mon–Sat), 9 am to 6 pmwith one day off.
