Roles and Responsibilities

As a Cloud Engineer I at Zebra Technologies, you will:

• Monitor and interpret cloud dashboards, alerts, and system notifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues while escalating complex cases.
• Coordinate with internal teams and occasionally with customers to resolve incidents.
• Ensure SLA adherence and escalate issues for delayed resolutions.
• Document troubleshooting steps and maintain records in case management systems.
• Track backlog cases to meet internal KPIs and client commitments.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, supporting 24/7 operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related fields.
• Freshers and candidates with 1+ year experience in IT/Cloud support are encouraged to apply.
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows, Linux, web services, networking, databases, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with infrastructure and application monitoring (latency, system health, performance, availability).
• Knowledge of scripting and query languages (Python, SQL, HTML) and REST API integrations.
• Understanding of ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Event Management.
• Entry-level certifications from Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, CompTIA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
