About the Role

Join Cognizant as an Infrastructure Development Specialist (Site Reliability Engineer), where you’ll utilize your technical expertise to design and manage CI/CD automation tools, enhance cloud scalability, and optimize development workflows. In this role, you will collaborate across teams to implement efficient automation pipelines, streamline deployments, and ensure high availability of cloud systems — contributing directly to cloud infrastructure monitoring and performance excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate Azure DevOps and Jenkins X for seamless delivery processes.
• Optimize AWS DevOps best practices to improve scalability, reliability, and cloud performance.
• Automate build, testing, and deployment using Jenkins CloudBees, reducing overall release time.
• Manage configuration of CircleCI, TeamCity, and Bamboo environments for continuous integration.
• Develop documentation for CI/CD processes, ensuring transparency and accessibility across teams.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and maintain system reliability.
• Support adoption of new technologies that improve efficiency and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in DevOps and cloud automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong background in CI/CD automation tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
• Experience in AWS DevOps and Azure DevOps cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in using Jenkins CloudBees, CircleCI, TeamCity, and Bamboo.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
