About the Role

Miratech is seeking a Junior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to implement and support its OpenStack-based private cloud infrastructure. The selected candidate will work on cloud automation, scalability, and performance optimization using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible and Terraform. This role involves close collaboration with the Platform and SRE teams to maintain secure, high-performance, multi-tenant cloud environments serving mission-critical applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support the deployment and management of multi-tenant OpenStack cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
• Assist in provisioning and configuring Ubuntu KVM, Cisco UCS servers, and Ceph storage systems.
• Contribute to automation tasks using Ansible, Terraform, or Pulumi for infrastructure setup and lifecycle management.
• Help enhance CI/CD infrastructure pipelines for updates, patching, and rollbacks.
• Monitor system health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki for observability and incident tracking.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and implement high availability and scalability practices.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and escalate complex cases as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotations and assist in incident response and root cause analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing and automating large-scale OpenStack or cloud infrastructure environments.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Ansible, Terraform, or Pulumi.
• Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation tools.
• Basic understanding of hypervisors (KVM, vSphere), software-defined storage (Ceph, NFS), and L2/L3 networking.
• Exposure to multi-region cloud deployments or HA setups is an advantage.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Cisco UCS Blade Servers, Block/File Storage, or software-defined storage.
• Prior experience in telecom, enterprise infrastructure, or edge cloud environments.
• Interest in learning new cloud technologies and contributing to open-source infrastructure projects.
