Roles and Responsibilities

• Core Functions
• Deliver accurate accounting solutions for hedge funds ensuring compliance, valuation accuracy, and investor transparency.
• Perform daily NAV (Net Asset Value) calculations and reconciliations between MSPA and custodians.
• Identify reconciliation breaks, determine causes, and communicate findings to Account Managers.
• Handle middle-office functions like P&L analysis, daily cash projections, and FX transfer calculations.
• Review general ledger exceptions, validate income and expense journals, and make necessary adjustments.
• Financial Operations
• Manage accruals for management fees and financing charges.
• Process non-automated transactions such as OTC derivatives and related cash flows.
• Conduct daily and monthly securities pricing and corporate action validation.
• Assist with audit processes, financial statement preparation, and compliance checks.
• You will play a crucial role in maintaining data accuracy, financial compliance, and performance reporting for Morgan Stanley’s global hedge fund clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in financial services, fund accounting, or hedge fund operations preferred.
• Graduate in Finance, Commerce, or related field 
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle pressure and meet month-end financial deadlines.
• Strong teamwork skills to collaborate across time zones.
• Proficiency with key financial systems and IT tools (Excel, portfolio management platforms, etc.).
