Job Description

In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing QA test plans, and creating automation scripts for software testing. The role involves deep analysis and debugging of software performance, scalability, and automation frameworks. If you’re passionate about software quality assurance, test automation, and performance benchmarking, this is the ideal job for you.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and analyze multi-user performance tests for software benchmarking.
• Document test results and create performance improvement reports with detailed technical metrics.
• Prepare QA documentation and contribute to best practice implementation.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for APIs and GUIs.
• Use tools like JMeter, Gatling, and Selenium for load and automation testing.
• Collaborate with Cross Functional Teams (CFTs) to ensure product quality and performance optimization.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, quality reviews, and defect analysis.
• Ensure adherence to QA standards and advocate for structured test automation approaches.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in testing enterprise applications focusing on performance and scalability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering from a recognized university.
• Hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, Jenkins, and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) systems such as Jenkins or GoCD.
• Experience with scripting languages (Batch, PowerShell).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and software troubleshooting skills.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology and QA processes.

Competencies

• Experience with web service testing, mobile app testing, and enterprise software validation.
• Proficiency in QA tools like Selenium, JMeter, WebDriver, and Gatling.
• Knowledge of build systems and automation frameworks.
