About the Role

The R&D DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining all phases of software build and deployment management for the Meshing Development Unit. You will work closely with distributed cross-functional teams to develop next-generation engineering software products, integrate open-source tools, and maintain automated build systems. This role demands a strong focus on DevOps automation, CI/CD pipeline management, and performance optimization to ensure high reliability and system efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and perform DevOps activities, including maintenance, monitoring, testing, and documentation of software builds.
• Configure tools for build generation, deployment, and monitoring across Windows and Linux platforms in both Cloud and On-Premise environments.
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools.
• Troubleshoot and debug build failures to maintain system reliability and uptime.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve complex build or packaging issues.
• Monitor performance metrics and alerts to ensure high system efficiency.
• Execute test automation and validation to confirm software build stability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in DevOps engineering or build automation.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming on Linux or Windows environments.
• Experience with build systems such as CMake and SCons.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Hands-on experience with Git, YAML, Python, Shell scripting, and Windows batch scripts.
• Strong understanding of software dependency management using Conan or NuGet.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure management.
• Experience working with open-source build systems and development tools.
• Knowledge of cloud security and container orchestration.
