About UBS Data Services Team

You will be working in the Data Services Team within Asset Management Chief Data Office (CDO). The team supports end-to-end data processes including benchmark management, index analytics, and financial data validation. As part of a global team located in Chicago, Zurich, Krakow, Singapore, and Pune, you’ll ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality data delivery to support UBS Asset Management operations 24×6.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support daily index calculations, validations, and distribution, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SLAs.
• Manage benchmark setup, reconciliation, and deactivation processes across applications.
• Respond to internal requests for clarifications, verification, and reconciliation of index and performance data.
• Conduct data quality checks and maintain data integrity across multiple systems.
• Document and review standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency and consistency.
• Perform business analysis and requirement gathering for new data processes and workflows.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support production releases.
• Collaborate with vendors, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and SLA adherence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in Finance, IT, or Engineering).
• Strong understanding of benchmarks, indices, and asset management operations.
• Experience in data reconciliation, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Excel (VBA/Macros), SQL, and ETL tools like Alteryx.
• Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting for process automation.
• Experience with Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or ICE data platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, or SimCorp Dimension preferred.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
