Roles and Responsibilities

General Responsibilities

Support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.

Accountabilities

• Assist various business areas with daily initiatives, including reporting and operational processing.
• Collaborate with teams across the bank to integrate and streamline processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements in operational workflows.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks.
• Prepare reports and presentations on operational performance for senior management.
• Monitor industry trends to enhance operational efficiency using best practices.
• Participate in projects and initiatives designed to enhance operational excellence.

Analyst Expectations

• Deliver exceptional service to stakeholders and customers through operational excellence.
• Complete assigned activities within timelines and maintain high-quality output.
• Follow established procedures, collaborating with team members as needed.
• Identify and escalate policy breaches as required.
• Take ownership of customer service and operational execution tasks.
• Manage risk effectively and strengthen control measures for assigned responsibilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Processing inward/outward payments including cross-border transactions managed by Barclays Corporate Operations (IMPS/NEFT/RTGS/NACH).
• Ensure accurate, error-free, and timely processing of daily payment transactions.
• Perform transactions per service-level agreements and regulatory guidelines.

Key Accountabilities

• Execute operational duties within TAT with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
• Fast learner, meticulous, and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skill Sets

• Experience in AML processes, preferably CDD (Client Onboarding).
• Experience interacting with Front Office and RM teams via phone.
• Flexibility for shift work.
• Experience working with risk types and classifying risk for individual and entity clients.
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency.
